RMI is a full service construction company specializing in custom residences. Our philosophy is to treat each project as if it was our own. We are a third generation construction family business and a fifth generation family on the Monterey Peninsula. Our business is built on referrals and an upstanding reputation of executing excellence for over thirty five years. We take pride in being on time, responsive and accountable; with these simple tools as our foundation we are able to succeed. Working with Green materials, Smart Home technology, Solar Energy, and Native landscaping are at the forefront of all our projects. We are capable of handling all scopes of work “from scratch” on a vacant lot with or without plans to a smaller remodel.

Rocky, finished his professional tennis career at the age of 25 and went into Real Estate in the East Bay. Not long after his successful career in Real Estate, in 1986, Rocky realized that his love for the industry laid in the tangible creation of building homes and the opportunity to leave something behind. From here he has had a long career in building on the Monterey Peninsula anything from custom homes, extensive remodels, and planned housing communities. Now he takes on only a few select projects at a time that he can personally be involved in the building of. Rocky and his team now live off Rancho San Carlos Road.
